Check Out Afro Rap Duo Aden & Asme Who Are Flying The Flag For Sweden

Aden & Asme are definitely the next big thing artists looking to break into the UK market and there’s no doubt it’s bound to happen sooner than later.

In little over a year, rappers Aden and Asme have become the leaders of the new generation of Scandinavian urban artists. Coming from the streets of Hammarkullen, Gothenburg they team hip hop lyricism with the melody of afrobeats to create a new AfroRap sound for Sweden, a sound that is rapidly taking over.
With their first release, the 2017 single Kasse, now an acknowledged classic (with 4 million+ Spotify streams and 2.5 million+ Youtube views), further cuts such as the international collaborations Pull Up featuring Afro B – which trended on Youtube on the week of its release- and Winter (featuring Dun D) have got fans desperate to hear this, their debut EP; Vågor & Fåglar.

Written and recorded between the UK and Sweden, the beats on Vågor & Fåglar were produced by British based producer Figgz, who has previously worked with UK heavyweights including Fredo and Hardy Caprio.
