Stormzy launches new Adidas collection

Adidas Originals has announced a new partnership with Stormzy for a new part of a collection that will feature multiple collaborative projects with the common theme of “celebrating urban youth culture and creativity inspired by the artist’s London roots.”

The full collection arrives today via JD Sports and will soon be followed by a November 30th release date for the full Adidas Originals by Stormzy lineup in UK Adidas Original stores.

The new announcement is the latest in a string of good news for Stormzy this year after setting up a college fund to send black students in the United Kingdom to University of Cambridge and being announced as the first headliner for the June 2019 Glastonbury festival in England, becoming the first grime artist to ever do so. To promote the announcement, the festival plastered posters to promote his gig across various Oxfam shops in the area where Stormzy grew up.
