The Internet, the Los Angeles-based R&B/soul band fronted by Syd and Matt Martians who released their third album, Ego Death, on Columbia Records in June, announce a four-date UK Tour this November which will see Thundercat co-headline two dates in Manchester and London. Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 14^th August via http://gigst.rs/tiatc

The tour kicks off in Glasgow at the O2 ABC2 on November 24^th, before Thundercat joins the tour for shows at Manchester’s Academy 2 on November 25^th and London KOKO on November 26^th, withThe Internet closing the tour at Bristol’s Marble Factory on November 27^th.

The Internet branched off from the Odd Future collective and started their own band in 2011.  Syd had previously been Odd Future’s DJ and producer, but began writing her own songs again making her first full-length album with Matt as The Internet. When they play live, The Internet is a six-person band whose youngest member is 17, will all band members contributing their talents to The Internet’s latest album, Ego Death.

Famed bassist, producer and singer Thundercat who co-headlines two dates of the tour, released his latest mini-album, The Beyond/ Where Giants Roam, earlier this year featuring the brilliant track ‘Them Changes’. Aside from his own projects, the legendary musician has featured on Flying Lotus’s last three albums, Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly and Erykah Badu’s New Amerykah Part 1and Part 2, among others.
