Kenké Drops ‘Ordinary Is Spectacular Enough’ EP

Nigerian singer-songwriter Kenké has delivered her new EP, ‘Ordinary Is Spectacular Enough’. Across the project the artist displays raw lyricism and explores themes of love and loss.

The Abuja based artist is staking a claim as an up and comer in Afro Soul. The lead single from this project, ‘I’m Sorry’, encapsulates her emotive songwriting ability.

Speaking on this track, Kenké states:

“I chose this song as the single off the EP because it feels like it’s in a league of its own. I basically took what was in my heart and wrote this song. Sometimes we have to say goodbye to someone we love, not because we want to but because it’s what’s best for them or for us. And sometimes, people never move on. This song is an apology to the one who never moved on. I moved on because I thought he moved on. But he never did.”
