Visionary LA-based artitst Shelailai has returned with her brand new single, ‘Don’t Need Him’, marking the next chapter in her kaleidoscopic sound.

Following the sun-drenched vibes of her debut EP ‘Butterfly Effect’, the track fuses lightning-fast flows, silky hooks and whip=-smart wordplay that hits from the last beat.

Speaking on the release, Shelailai said – 

“Don’t Need Him” is about independence with a soft side. I don’t need a man to pay my bills or take care of me, I can do that by myself. But I also love being loved and treated like a princess. It’s not about needing someone, it’s about wanting them. And that distinction makes it even more powerful.”
