UK R&B Songstress Mnelia Unveils New Mixtape “Complicated”

UK R&B powerhouse Mnelia has dropped her new mixtape titled Complicated. The 8 track project is a a sultry soul-baring collection of tracks that look at Mnelia’s thoughts and feelings. 

‘Brozone’, tackles the awkward task of moving a lover into the friend zone, ’Hold You Down’ featuring Strandz, and lead single ‘Burn’, delve into the notion of knowing when to let go, when you’ve given it your all and get nothing back, and finally deciding to burn it all down, making way for something new.

With the refined production, combined alongside Mnelia’s gauzy and silky tones, the project continues to showcase her tender vocals, paired with her sharp-edged storytelling; lyrically pushing boundaries, with her viewpoint and opinions.

Speaking on ‘Complicated’ Mnelia explains;

“Complicated is exactly that. The result of me spending time in the studio and making music I love, No plan no big idea just creating songs true to where I’m at in life. When I listened back, all the songs together felt like the season I’m in right now. If you ask me how I feel about life, love, relationships or even just figuring myself out, I’d tell you it’s complicated. That’s what makes this project special to me. It’s honest, it’s real and it’s just a reflection of where I am”.
