Irish rapper Rejjie Snow breaks his hiatus with new track “Cookie Chips” featuring MF DOOM and Cam O’bi

Rejjie Snow has unveiled a brand-new track entitled, “Cookie Chips” featuring MF Doom and Cam O’bi, alongside it’s accompanying music video.

Already catching the ear of major tastemaker, BBC Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac, who gave the track it’s first spin during her set yesterday.

This recognition comes as testament to the rappers place within the scene and his artistry. “Cookie Chips” is a true treat to his fans who have been waiting patiently for his return.

The song pairs a loopy synth-filled backdrop driven by the syncopated placement of percussion. With the laidback, old school vibe and hip-hop-esque deliveries from Snow and DOOM as they serve up their hard-hitting truths with a side of a sweetness on the melodic hook.

Reflecting the psychedelic feel to the offering, visually we find Snow treating through the woodlands and fields donning bunny ears while clutching a bunch of balloons, which help him float away.
