Tems short film ‘72 hours in Lagos’ with Leading Vibe Initiative & Native Instruments
13 Nov 2025
Tems has teamed up with Native Instruments for her Leading Vibe Initiative for a brand new short film, which spotlights Nigeria’s next generation of female producers.
‘72 hours in Lagos’ offers an intimate look at Lagos’ rising creative scene through the eyes of three producers – Saszy Afroshii, TinyBraz, and Gbots – exploring what it means to make music as women in a male-dominated industry.
The mini-documentary captures creativity, resilience, and community in one of Africa’s most influential music capitals, as the producers take part in the inaugural edition of Tems’ Leading Vibe Initiative – a platform designed to train, mentor, and empower women across Africa’s music ecosystem
With women still representing less than 3% of producers in mainstream music, the film offers a rare, grounded look at the women shaping Nigeria’s sound – and how access to tools and mentorship can redefine the creative landscape.
