[NEWS] 2016 Grammy Nominations: Kendrick Lamar, Drake, Ed Sheeran And More

The lead up to music’s biggest night began on Monday (Dec 7), as nominations for the 58th annual GRAMMY Awards were announced. Taking to CBS This Morning, Alicia Keys announced the four major categories earlier this morning.

In the category for “Record of the Year,” D’Angelo will face-off against Mark Ronson & Bruno Mars, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd. Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp A Butterfly faces a tough battle against Taylor Swift and The Weeknd for “Album Of The Year,” while Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright” will match up against Ed Sheeran “Thinking Out Loud” and Wiz Khalifa Feat. Charlie Puth “See You Again” for “Song Of The Year.” Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with 11 nominations.

The 58th Annual Grammy Awards take place on February 15. They’ll be broadcast live from the Staples Center in L.A. on CBS.
