The rise of Grime music has exceeded the expectations of it’s mainstream critics and broken borders internationally , diversity, edginess and raw loyalty to the genre. Artists from all of over the world and especially within the USA have paid attention to the rise of this energetic culture and music causing major US artists like Drake and Kanye West to be receptive and take part within it!

Next Tuesday grime takes another leap in the history books with it’s journey being turned into a real life masterpiece in the form of Hattie Collin’s ‘This Is Grime‘. Teaming up with photographer Olivia Rose, i-D’s feature director has shown the UK Grime scene in an ‘oral-visual future classic’ from the very start of the ever-growing genre to the present day featuring some of genre’s heavyweight artists from Wiley, Dizzee Rascal to Novelist and Stormzy

Following the successful release, on Tuesday the 12th September, Hattie & Olivia will be joined with Stormzy, JME, D Double E and Novelist to discuss the novel and the whole genre in deeper insight followed by a book signing at Rough Trade East.
