Dotty declares her departure from BBC Radio 1Xtra

Today, Dotty has taken to her socials to announce her departure from BBC Radio 1Xtra.

Dotty (also known by the moniker of MC Amplify Dot at the time) joined the station back in 2014. Then just two years on, she made history by becoming the first solo female host of The 1xtra Breakfast Show. Over her 6 years with the BBC she has entertained the nation with her hilarious personality, in addition to an illustrious array of interviews with artists, actors and more.

Although, her next move is yet to be revealed, what we can tell you is that she has some “very (very!) exciting news coming soon.”
