Guvna B has just released his latest energy driven single Cushty.

Switching up the style, Guvna delivers cold bars assertively over the drill-influenced instrumental crafted by producer of the moment TSB (fresh from his work on J Hus’ #1 album) – balancing the minimal foundations with his signature conscious lyricism, displaying the possibility of positive messages within the sub-genre despite media scrutiny.

Commenting on the single, Guvna B stated “This song’s about youth violence in inner-city communities. It’s about not writing young people off and trusting that they have the ability to turn their lives around if they’re given better opportunities and better environments to thrive in. It’s a song about peace because the world’s tough enough as it is without young people losing their lives prematurely“.
