Kojey Radical Releases An Emotive Hour Long ‘Proud Of You’ Film

Kojey Radical has presented ‘Proud Of You’ visual, an acutely personal and poignant hour-long film which features over 100 submissions from the East London rappers’ community after his call-out to get involved in his #imsoimsoproud challenge.

Acting as his first release of 2020, the intimate new track offered an opportunity for the young creative to reflect, to slow down and to remember what makes us feel proud. RADICAL posted a challenge to his fanbase to show just how creative they could get, with the promise that at the end he would create an official video for the track; “I wanted to do something special to celebrate! there are hundreds of thousand unsung heroes going above and beyond during this hard time. I called my band mate Mike to make this piano part that will allow you to take the song and get creative”. Speaking on the film, Kojey commented; “Finding pride in your darkest days is a task that can seem impossible sometimes. Especially without the time to reflect. I always seem to forget to reflect and really consider how far I’ve come since I started. The pace of life never gave me the opportunity to. With all the chaos going on, I felt like this song is a perfect way to help remind people to consider what makes you proud of you…”
