Yesterday, Marcus Rashford wrote an open letter to all MP’s urging the Government to reverse their decision to stop free food vouchers for vulnerable children during the summer holidays.

Today, Downing Street have stated that children will be eligible to gain access to free school meals for 6 weeks during the summer holidays with the £120 million ‘Covid Summer Food Fund’; Boris Johnson greeted Rashford’s “contribution to the debate around poverty”.
