A new London based creative agency, Before Lucy, has today officially launched its new website and a social project that places independent artists at its core!
Bringing together some of the creative industry’s most eclectic and unique minds, founder Lucy Prada is committed to using the agency as a platform that facilitates new opportunities for independent artists to have their music heard. Of the launch Lucy commented; “Over time it’s become more apparent that the industry doesn’t love the artists. Countless artists struggle to get their music heard and in the last year alone, the industry generated over 40 billion and yet the artists themselves received only 12% of the revenue.”
Determined to establish an agency that has the creative flair and industry knowledge to reinvent the conventional ways of working with independent artists, Lucy brought on-board industry veterans, Andre Mcdonald and Scott Butler.
The team at Before Lucy will use their talents to pioneer a change in the music industry and launch a new social project that puts independent artists ar the forefront. Each quarter, the social project will provide two independent artists with a free single or EP campaign. This will enable the artists to instead invest money into the marketing of their project, which is a key element that can determine the success of a campaign, but is often seen as low priority for independent artists with smaller budgets.
The agency will continue to provide this service to artists after the pandemic and is committed to using it’s experience, innovative approaches and creative flair to produce high end campaigns, which generate tangible results and long lasting impacts for independent artists.
