Nike X Balmain: First Look

Olivier Rousteing, creative director of Balmain has teamed up with NikeLab for a limited edition collection of apparel and footwear. Olivier took to Instagram to reveal the collaboration,
“Fashion is usually about the catwalk and the glamour, but with Nike it was about performance and the athletes,” said Rousteing, who is is the fourth designer after Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci, Kim Jones, and Jun Takahashi to collaborate with NikeLab on an exclusive high-fashion collection. “What I love about this collection is that we are integrating the iconic style of football into sport style.”
The collection is named NikeLab x Olivier Rousteing: Football Nouveau, and is inspired by the classic Balmain-esque black and gold style. Check out some of the designs below:
