The first episode of ‘Africa Now Radio with Cuppy’ is set premiere this Sunday at 9am EDT, for one hour. The show taps Nigerian music producer and DJ Cuppy as it’s presenter.

It is expected that each episode will extend itself to a variety of genres including; Pop-centric, Afrobeats, Hip-Hop, Gqom, Contemporary and Kuduro.

This announcement follows the launch of Universal Music Group’s newest division called Def Jam Africa earlier this week.

In a press release, DJ Cuppy said.

“The show represents a journey from West to East and North to South, but importantly a narrative of Africa then to Africa now.”
