Afro Nation x LIT Present: OUT THE BOX — A Culture-First Live Experience Taking Over Boxpark

OUT THE BOX, a brand-new culture-led live experience brought to you by Afro Nation and LIT, taking over BOXPARK as the final stop on the road to this year’s Afro Nation festival.

OUT THE BOX reintroduces Afro Nation to the UK in a bold, community-first way, rooted in Black British identity and driven by the global sounds of the diaspora. Designed to spotlight emerging talent and engage new audiences, the event brings people together through music, movement and culture.

The night will be headlined by Nigerian rising star Shallipopi, with legendary producer Sarz confirmed as a special guest and more names to be revealed soon. Attendees can expect an electric atmosphere, high-energy performances, and a space where creativity and culture collide.

OUT THE BOX is more than a lead-up to Afro Nation Portugal; it marks the beginning of a brand-new summer series that brings the festival’s unmistakable energy home to the UK. As Afro Nation and LIT continue to grow globally, this initiative grounds the experience in the heart of Black British culture, creating space for connection, celebration, and cultural exchange.
