Last night, 3x GRAMMY and 7x BRIT Award-winning global pop powerhouse Dua Lipa kicked off the first of two sold‑out shows at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium, the first show of the UK leg of her highly anticipated 75+ date Radical Optimism Tour, playing to 150,000 fans in London.

The performance follows sold‑out shows across Europe, including multiple stops in Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, Munich, among others, which were preceded by earlier dates across Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

The 23-song set opened with her hit single, ‘Training Seasonfollowed by fan favourites including ‘Break My Heart’, ‘One Kiss’ and ‘Whatcha Doing’. Dua moved seamlessly through her catalogue, including ‘Levitating’, ‘These Walls’ and a surprise rare performance of the cult-favourite ‘Hotter Than Hell’, which Dua introduced by saying “This is the song that got me signed, and it’s the song that started everything. With weather like this, there’s only one song I could do.”

The show continued with an illustrious string rendition of ‘Maria’, electric performances of songs like ‘Physical’ and ‘Illusion’ and wrapped with chart-topping hits ‘Don’t Start Now’ and ‘Houdini’, ending the night with a high-energy finale that lit up the stadium.

As with previous tour stops, Dua included a bespoke cover unique to the city, a now-trademark element of the show often performed in the local language. Last night, fans were treated to a surprise appearance from Jamiroquai to perform ‘Virtual Insanity’ with Dua for the special moment.
