Originally from Rhode Island but now residing in America, JELEEL! is an artist who has broken down barriers and paved his own lane over the past five years. Hailing from L.A, his melodic rap style infused with elements of indie rock, trap, drill and afrobeats have captivated listeners around the globe; showcasing his delicate and raw flow amongst his eccentricity and unique aesthetic, JELEEL! is the full package.

The Nigerian rapper has made big waves with his multi-faceted persona and tantalizing live energy, heavily known for his acrobatic and charismatic prescence on stage with flips and energetic bursts. Earlier this month, the 27 year old touched down in the UK for a headline show at the Camden Assembly, before an exclusive afterparty saw the talent celebrate with some huge names in the capital. In what will become a short mini series over the next few months, we’ll be covering a string of exclusive events and afterparties that connect the dots between the international artists and the UK.

There was eager anticipation from the fans before show, with the line forming nice and early for people to get down and into the venue. Selling out the prestigious venue in North London, JELEEL! alongside supporting act Skaiwater shelled down an energetic set to a full capacity – showcasing his signature sound and acrobatic backflips on stage throughout the sh0w. Here’s some photos from what went down…

After the headline show, JELEEL! and friends made their way to central London for an exclusive afterparty at The Standard, hosted by Sophie Beeching – which saw some of the industry’s biggest names congregate for a celebration of the artists success. DJ’s spinning the decks all night with afterparty heaters – the energy and vibe was immaculately tangible. With names such as Skrillex, DTG and ManLikeIsaac all coming through amongst many others – the top floor, invite only party was not one to be missed – one that started off the midnight diaries excellent form.
