Nemzzz returned to Manchester on Saturday 12th September for an intimate homecoming performance at Concept Haus, marking the latest live show in Spotify Hometown, a new series celebrating the places, people and communities that shape artists long before the rest of the world discovers them.
Raised in Manchester, Nemzzz performed at the industrial-style Salford venue for an intimate audience, including some of his most dedicated listeners invited by Spotify to experience the one-night-only show.
The performance saw Nemzzz perform a vast select of both new and old tracks, accompanied by special guests K Trap, Marlo, AK Milli, R Kid, Zeddy East and watchmotionlive.
The Manchester show followed a special community event with Youth Elements in Gorton on Friday 11th September as part of Spotify Hometown, a Manchester-based youth centre dedicated to giving young people a space to grow, connect and thrive.
Nemzzz is the second of three artists taking part in the inaugural Spotify Hometown series, following Jorja Smith’s return to the West Midlands and ahead of Beabadoobee’s West London edition on 17 September, with each edition built around the artist’s individual relationship with the place that helped shape them.
