Fresh off the release of his debut EP named, ‘VENOLOGY’, South London’s very own Grammy Award winning Saxophonist and producer Venna caught up with Mixtape Madness to help compile a list of 5 things we need to know about him!

Reputable for his production and work alongside a slew of international hit-makers from Wizkid, Burna Boy, 6lack, Snoh Aalegra, J Hus, AJ Tracey, and more Venna is continuing to prove why he’s a force to be reckoned with.

1. Venna received his first Grammy Nomination while he was at work!

Like any up and coming musician who’s on the grind, at the time of receiving his first ever Grammy Nomination, Venna was working at Carpetright as a carpet salesman. If this has taught us anything, it’s not to give up on your dreams!

2. He learnt how to play the Saxophone at 12-years-old!

If you are aware of Venna then you will be more than well acquainted with his impeccable Saxophone playing. The treasured talent learnt how to play from the youthful age of 12-years-old all whilst attending an all boys school in Croydon.

3. Venna has been reading music since the age of 6!

Infatuated with music from since he was a young boy – as demonstrated above – Venna was taught how to read music from 6 years of age…no wonder why he’s a musical genius!

4. Venna’s first major music placement came when he was 19!

Now, at only 19 years old this one is pretty impressive! Venna’s first major music placement was Burna Boy’s hit track named, “Anybody” – wow!

5. He has a love for film cameras!

Venna only takes pictures on film and has recently started getting into video film cameras. If you’ve had a look through his Instagram feed then you’ll know what I’m talking about, the aesthetic king!
