21 year-old artist and producer 169 (aka Tyrell Paul) announces the his highly-anticipated EP Sync.

169 is a songwriter, producer, mixer and artist who, at 21, has become the go-to hit track producer in the UK rap scene. Starting off his journey with BRIT Award-winning rapper Dave, producing and co-writing Thiago Silva ft. AJ Tracey, he went on to produce Dave’s Six Paths EP including the international hit Wanna Know ft. Drake and also worked on the Dave’s most recent album Psychodrama. 169 had production across Headie One’s debut album Music x Road which put the UK Drill scene on the map as well as also working alongside the likes of Fredo and Ramz – he’s done a lot!

Now releasing his own EP, 169 drew from the Caribbean, UK Drill and Toronto’s new wave of R&B in order to create a truly unique record. 169’s new body of work builds upon recent releases with both emerging talent and rap royalty i.e. Wretch 32. With 6 unreleased tracks on the EP, Sync is an expansive demonstration of the breadth of 169’s ability across genres.
