Speaking on the release, Aanu commented; “It’s 2020, a huge political year – as an artist your message is more important than ever- I just wanted women to know that it is OK to lead from the front and shoot your shot, speak your truth ,to ask the partner out, take them on a date, buy them the 1st round! I agree with the saying of treating people how you’d like to be treated, so why not treat your love interest with the love you’d like to receive? Many women I know feel it doesn’t necessarily come naturally for everyone so mine is a sonic shout to those who need a helping hand”
