Alté Pioneer Boj enlists Olamide and Mavo for double single drop

Alté pioneer Boj returns with a double single, ‘Contraband’ featuring Nigerian superstar Olamide, and ‘Diamonds’ featuring rising star Mavo, which they are sharing alongside a “Diamonds” music video, filmed in Lagos.

Both releases set the stage for his upcoming sixth studio album, ‘Duplicity’, out December 5th. The singles capture Duplicity’s central theme, the balance between light and dark, good and bad. Olamide’s flow turns “Contraband” into a vibesy club track, while Mavo matches BOJ’s smooth delivery on “Diamonds”, creating an Afrofuturist anthem and stand out from the forthcoming album.

Produced by Blaise Beats (Davido, Fireboy DML, Rema) and Genio (Cruel Santino, Teni), the tracks showcase BOJ at his most experimental and confident, pushing the Alté sound he helped define into bold new territory.
