Live Show Review: Aminé Lights Up London With ‘Tour de Dance’ Show
8 Dec 2025
Last Wednesday, rapper Aminé brought the heat to a cold, wet London evening at the Troxy in East London. Playing some fan favourites alongside new material, the Portland artist kept the energy levels high throughout an electric performance.

After a stellar opening from Tommy Gold, Aminé paid homage to his UK audience by taking to the stage to the sound of The Streets, samples in this year’s hit, ‘Arc de Triomphe’. His crowd work throughout the night was impeccable as he kept the audience engaged with a smart setlist.

Playing songs from his 2025 album ’13 Months of Sunshine’, as well as his collaborative tape with Kaytranada, there was more of a dance feel than what would be expected at a typical hip-hop or rap event. Songs like ‘Feels so Good’ and ‘Vacay’ permeated the dancefloor, while ‘Sossaup’ also proved to be a fan favourite.

Closing out with ‘Caroline’ and ‘Spice Girl’ before an encore of Arc de Triomphe, Aminé delivered a show that had something for every member of the audience. From cult classics to new heaters, his London stint proved that he is one of the most captivating performers in rap right now.
