Nigerian-born, Dublin-based emerging prodigy Archy Moor has delivered his enigmatic new single “I’ve Been” — taken from his hotly-anticipated EP Bonnie Hill, dropping 10th February.

Building momentum as one of the most intriguing and naturally talented young artists in the UK music scene, Archy teams up with close friend, producer and collaborator Earl Saga for “I’ve Been”. Delivering raw, anecdotal tales, that immediately define Archy’s talent through his low tone and seemingly ambivalent cadence enable the lyricist to lure the listener in, only to impress with refined adlibs and smooth overtones.

Sitting atop ethereal instrumentals, Archy serves up a snapshot of his early days and growth as an artist — promising his listeners that he’s ‘never disappearing’. Paired with a captivating set of visuals self-shot during his recent travels to South Korea, “I’ve Been” proves to be another fitting introduction that looks to launch Archy into significant UK hip-hop conversations ahead of his longer form project, Bonnie Hill.

Speaking on the new single, Archy explains:

“This song was literally made so out of blue. The night before myself and Earl left to Korea he cooked up the instrumental, I wrote the lyrics on the plane there and then we recorded the vocals in the hostel we were staying at and mixed it the same day. For the visuals, we rocked up to Sony Korea, dropped a bag on a camera and recorded and edited it ourselves haha – I love shit like that because why not?”

Surrounded by an all-star team of producers including Earl Saga (Loyle Carner,
Slowthai, Finn Askew), Grammy Nominated LA-native MIKEWAVVS (Jack Harlow, Kehlani, KayCyy), Nick Mills (Baby Keem, Kendrick Lamar) and Benjamin ‘Benji’ Miller (Rejjie Snow, Cosmo Pyke), Archy consistently provides himself with the perfect soundtrack to convey his unfiltered, inner most thoughts.

A singular artist forging a reputation as the future of UK hip-hop, Archy’s multifaceted ability will mark him as a significant name in the creative spheres across music, fashion and beyond as 2023 looks set to be a milestone year for the twenty-one- year-old.
