AWA Drops Her Debut EP ‘cry.baby’

Breakout star AWA continues her tale of resilience, determination and raw talent on her debut EP cry.baby.

Preaching the importance of self-love AWA addresses various types of relationships but most importantly the one we have with ourselves. Influences from 90’s R&B run through the EP and make sure you listen out for the sample of Mase’s  classic What You Want.

 On the meaning behind the EP AWA commented; “I like to look at “cry.baby” as a body of work that goes through the motions and perspective of different relationships. The casual ones, the complicated, the beautiful and the most important, the one with yourself. It’s all a journey and as long as you grow a little from your experiences, you good boo.”
