‘Black Lives in Music’ enlist Zeze Millz for new five-part series – “A Celebration Of Black Music” tackling racial inequality in the UK music industry

Newly established, growing organisation ‘Black Lives in Music’ (BLiM) launched just last month, to create opportunities for Black musicians and professionals in the UK music industry.

Already setting foundations, BLiM unveil a brand new five-part YouTube series “A Celebration Of Black Music”. Joining forces with prominent interviewer and presenter Zeze Mills as Host, they kickstart episode 1 with composer, singer, songwriter and cellist Ayanna Witter Johnson as well as 2018’s BBC Young Jazz Musician winner Xhosa Cole.

Throughout the series, the guests talk with Zeze on their experiences as Black artists and musicians in the UK music industry, how they got into their careers and their perspective of the future.
