Black Sherif Comes Through With ‘January 9th’ Single

To celebrate his birthday, Ghanaian artist Black Sherif has delivered his first single of the year, ‘January 9th’. The track has been accompanied by a slick music video directed by David Nicol-Sey, who was also responsible for Sherif’s iconic ‘Kwaku The Traveller’ video in 2022 which recorded over 24 million views.

Sherif released his debut album back in 2022, with fans hoping for his follow up this year. The artist manages to combine an array of influences, including Afrobeat, Highlife, and Drill within his music.
