Blanco Unveils ‘Soda Lime’ Single
9 Sep 2024
UK Rap titan Blanco has come through with his latest single, ‘Soda Lime’. The track picks up from where he left off on his previous release, ‘Ponzi Scheme’, making use of choppy, Brazilian inspired production whilst also exploring emotive, heartfelt lyricism.
Coming up as part of the legendary Harlem Spartans, Blanco has since made a name for himself in his own right thanks to his smart wordplay and instantly recognisable flow. His use of South American influences has seen the artist travel to Brazil, delving deeper into the links between the country and his Angolan heritage.
Speaking on the single, Blanco states:
“I wrote this song while going through a breakup with a girl who I believed was the love of my life. I was experiencing my first real heartbreak and was on my way to studio and the first words that came to mind was “raining days you stopped from getting me damp.”
