West Coast rapper Blxst has come through with his new EP, ‘Just For Clarity 2’, featuring a host of Hip-Hop’s biggest names. The four track EP features guest appearances from Roddy Ricch, Larry June, and Terrace Martin amongst others, and goes to show why Blxst has been hotly tipped for success this year.

The new project showcases the versatility of the artist as he experiments with a multitude of sounds. The opening track, ‘Ghetto Cinderella’, is backed by production from Mustard and showcases Blxst’s ability as a vocalist, while the chemistry between Blxst and Roddy Ricch on ‘Passionate’ is undeniable. Furthermore, Larry June brings a smooth, laid-back vibe to ‘Keep Calling’ – the closer of the EP.

Speaking on the project, Blxst shared:

“Just for Clarity 2 is the second instalment of a project I put together for my supporters to have an update of what’s going on in real time. When I think of clarity, I think of being clear and getting straight to the point. It’s a moment for me to vent and be honest and transparent, which is a theme throughout the EP. I call it a flawless four pack because it’s intentionally short and sweet, but it’s also an appetiser before the debut.”

As Blxst continues to treat his fans with new music, it won’t be long until he follows up 2020’s ‘No Love Lost’ with a full length, debut album. The artist has certainly proven himself to be an exciting prospect, already working with top tier talent in the world of Hip-Hop, and this EP could well send him on the way to stardom.
