Bou Drops ‘B-Sides Mixtape’

An innovator in UK Drum & Bass, Bou has come through with his new project, ‘B-Sides Mixtape’. At a mammoth 31 tracks the artist showcases his talents in a wide array of soundscapes, as well as backing up the lead single ‘Try Me’ with Turno and TIC.

The project was inspired by the passing of Bou‘s father, encouraging the artist to release more often and become less precious about the music he creates. With hits like ‘Badadan’ to his name and co-signs from Chase & Status and Andy C amongst others, there is no doubt that Bou has the prowess to reach new heights with his music.

Speaking on the release, the artist states:

“Losing my dad hit me and my family very hard, but it also got me thinking about all the advice he’d given me over the years, which I admittedly hadn’t listened to! He always told me I was sitting on too many tunes and needed to get more of my music out in the world – so this project is just that. 31 tracks – all quality – and all a statement of my hard work and my dad’s admiration for what I do. I’ve been sitting on so much music for years and after everything that happened, I stopped overthinking and just decided to let it all go. This is the raw side of what I do.”
