Chase & Status Unveil Brand New LP ‘2 RUFF, VOL. 1′

With 20 years in the game, Chase & Status are heavyweights of the UK and the International scene; the tail end of last week saw the infamous duo keep up their incredible momentum this year, delivering brand new album ‘2 RUFF, VOL. 1’.

Coming into the project with a collaborative stance, the 10 track project includes features from that of Kwengface, Sav’O and Horrid1, Arrdee, Hedex, Stefflon Don, MIST & IRAH and more – real proof that the duo are trying to continue the hybridisation of the UK Rap scene and the drum and bass scene.

Also on the project is ‘Baddadan’ – arguably the hottest drum and bass record to come out all year year. Linking up with Manchester’s in demand DnB artist Bou as well as Irah, Flowdan, Trigga and Takura, this track was a truly pivotal release for the UK scene this year.
