Col3trane Releases New Single ‘Crocodile Tears’ ft. Chase Shakur 

Col3trane has dropped his brand-new single ‘Crocodile Tears’ ft. Atlanta star Chase Shakur.

‘Crocodile Tears’ is a relatable single backed by sleek, hazy harmonies dripping with atmosphere and intent. Col3trane commands the beat with sun-kissed vocals as syncopated drum breaks create a pocket for intimate reflections of fading love. The confusion, jealousy and wasted luxury illustrates a passion that gradually intensifies the deeper he pleads, before Chase Shakur joins the fold with smooth undertones to elevate the duo past the complexities in their candid pursuit of real love.

Speaking on the track, Col3trane explains: “’Crocodile Tears’ is about doing too much for someone and not getting enough in return. I feel like a lot of people can relate to feeling like nothing you do is ever enough, but this song definitely feels to me like it’s more about being over it than anything else.”

Touching on the collaboration, he adds: “Chase and I linked up in London while he was on tour last year, and made a couple joints but this one definitely stuck, and felt right very quickly. We also linked up in LA recently too and made a couple joints for his album. I love what he’s doing, it feels really exciting and different. I think people are really gonna love this song and everything he’s got coming up.”
