With recent performances at Haldern Pop Festival in Germany as well as Frankie Stew and Harvey Gunn’s Some Day Festival in Bristol, London native Danny Sanchez has come through to share his brand new single ‘Unkind’.

Reputed for his razor-sharp lyricism, ‘Unkind’ is an honest and vulnerable approach to adulthood, with co-production from Cotton offering melancholic UK underground vibes. Painting a vivid picture of persistence and solitude as he navigates friendships, romantic relationships and creativity, the new track grapples the intricacies of self-discovery.

Marking his return Danny Sanchez commented, “Unkind” is my first solo release in over a year — the beginning of a new chapter both personally and creatively. The song is about growth, learning to accept the past and appreciate where you’ve come from whilst working toward becoming your best self. This release means a lot to me because it shows a different side of what I can do and it’s also the first track I’ve ever co-produced, starting from my own beat idea.”
