Maintaining a refreshing and different sound from the current mainstream can be a difficult task – Dapz On The Map has been doing it with ease for years. Today, the Birmingham based Grime MC has shared visuals for brand new rap heater ‘Contingency’.

Taking aim over a tekky grime production courtesy of Swifta, Dapz OTM showcases his clever lyricism, inpeccable delivery and ability to change tone and dynamic within track.

A track which heavily reminds me of a time that grime was dominant, Dapz OTM is doing serious work out here. An infectious hook amongst hard hitting verses combine perfectly.
