24 Oct 2025
South London’s finest in Dave, has today unveiled his highly anticipated new album, ‘The Boy Who Played The Harp’ – a three-year project in the making. The ten-track project, weighing in at just under 48 minutes, features high-profile collaborations with James Blake, Kano, Tems, and Jim Legxacy.
Speaking on Instagram about the release, Dave says:
My 3rd album is finally here. After a few years of soul searching to arrive at this point I want to say thank you to everyone who made this possible, my mum who raised me and gave me my name and destiny, my family and friends and the most talented of musicians that helped me bring this to life.
I owe you a lot. To my supporters I want to say over this time I have been away you have genuinely saved my life and I couldn’t think of a better group of people to do this with/for. I cannot believe how you have supported me. I wake up and think about you and I write and I pray for you and I speak life into your lives every day I walk this earth. I hope this album and this story aligns with yours and resonates with you.
Finally I want to thank God his love and light, for taking a scared little boy trying to navigate the world and giving him the chance to help others and for protecting us all. David’s story and search for purpose has guided me and I’ve grown so much over these years. Once again my people I’ve missed your faces, seeing you on tour and out in the world. I’m here to stay. Thank you for being a part of History.
