Demae Drops ‘Speechless’ Single

Rising North West London talent Demae has come through with her new single, ‘Speechless’. The track has also been accompanied by a scenic music video shot by Ivor Lawson-Adamah.

Blessed with a smooth vocal tone and emotive lyrical ability, this artist looks set to break through as she prepares to release more music. Hailing from Harlesden, her love for music came from her relationship with her father, combining elements of Rap and Soul under one umbrella.

Speaking on the track, Demae states:

“I’ve always loved adding my own light hearted humour to songwriting because I think it also reflects me as a person. I wanted Speechless to encapsulate that sudden gut wrench feeling of butterflies you get when you realise your falling hard. I had the opportunity to work with Fatima on this and we had the most fun messing around with concepts in my room and free styling. I want the listener to go through the motions with me in this song all this tension building up only to have the final exhale of relief in the last few moments of the song. I really hope this could be someone’s soundtrack to them falling in love.”
