Drake releases new mixtape and announces the date for his sixth studio album dropping!

Drake fans are in for a treat, last night (April 30th) the Hip-hop powerhouse gifted fans with news of an upcoming album. Alongside a new compilation mixtape dropping today, entitled “Dark Lanes Demo Tapes”

The new mixtape is Drake’s first full-length release since 2019’s “Care Package”, which similar to DLDT, isn’t a proper album, but rather “a lot of the songs people have been asking for (some leaks and some joints from SoundCloud and some new vibes.” Drake told fans on Instagram.

In true “Drake” style, DLDT hosts an illustrious set of collaborators including, Future, Chris Brown, Playboi Carti, Young Thug, Fivio Foreign and a few newer artists.

Drake also announced that his sixth album isn’t far behind and is slated to land on May 6th.
