Singer-songwriter and all round rising star Grace Carter has returned with her latest single, ‘Bloodwar’ accompanied by a slick music video. Carter has been hotly tipped for success thanks to her outstanding voice, and her latest output only backs this up.

The young artist has already enjoyed a breakthrough year in 2023, thanks to her previous single ‘Pick Your Tears Up’, as well as a show at Omeara which sold out in seconds. She also featured on the +44 podcast for International Women’s Day and made multiple appearances at London Fashion Week.

Speaking on her latest track, Carter said:

“Bloodwar is a song I wrote when I was 17. I wrote it at a time when I was really struggling with the impact of growing up with an absent parent and unanswered questions. Although I’m no longer in that space and have grown so much from those emotions this song has always been so important to me and when I listen to it, it reminds me of how far I have come! I’ve had it on my setlist for years and its always felt so strange that a song that has played such a huge part in my personal and artistic journey has never been released. So with my tour coming up it felt like the right time to put it out into the world.”

It certainly feels as if Carter has the world at her feet as she continues to build on her early successes. Her songwriting ability coupled with her arresting vocals make her an intriguing talent as she continues to mature as an artist. ‘Bloodwar’ only goes to show that the future looks very bright for Grace Carter.
