Hailing from South East London, Greentea Peng is an artist who has navigated her way to becoming one of the most highly anticipated stars on the scene of recent times. Having spent her early teenage years in the seaside town of Hastings, the 27 year old soul and self described psychedelic R’n’B singer / songwriter provides something unique. Something refreshing.

Yesterday, she unveiled her brand new mixtape ‘Greenzone 108’, taking the form of a 10 track project, alongside sharp visuals for standout track ‘Look To Him’, released a couple of weeks ago. A flourishing verdure of live instrumentation and soothing sonic palettes, Greentea Peng showcases her distinguished melodic tone, lyrical ambiguity and creative innovation throughout the whole project.

With production coming from the likes of Nat Powers, Jon Mills, MJ Cole, Swindle and St Francis Hotel – this project seeks to offer an alternative individual narration into Peng’s outlook on contemporary society and her personal life.

The visuals for ‘Look To Me’ sees Greentea Peng as the omniscient narrator, serenading viewers through a rotating cycle of London cityscapes – cinematic videography that conveys the track’s underlying theme of ‘tapping into the source’.
