Hailing from Bolton, Greater Manchester, Interplanetary Criminal has released his highly anticipated debut single on Room Two Recordings record label, drafting in rapper Blanco for a joint entitled ‘Races’.

Having been teased as the opening track of Interplanetary Criminal’s highly popular Berlin Boiler Room set, Blanco’s versatility shines through in “Races”, exploring a new and more diverse sound.

Speaking on the single, Interplanetary Criminal states:

“I wanted to pay homage to the early 00’s darker side of 2-step garage and encapsulate the atmosphere of Manchester’s colder history of bass music. Blanco brings his sick word play and flow on top of this 2-step tune bringing it into 2024. This one is for the culture, retaining the underground presence that we both came from.”
