Jaz Karis Drops Debut Album ‘Safe Flight’

British singer-songwriter Jaz Karis has come through with her debut album, ‘Safe Flight’. To accompany the release she has also dropped a video for one of the tracks, ‘Love Me’, directed by Daisy Maskell.

Karis has been touted as an artist to watch and showcases why on this project, linking up with the likes of Juls and Mahalia in the process. ‘Safe Flight’ takes inspiration from her experiences recording in LA, as well as her trips to Ghana and returning to her roots in London.

Speaking on the album, the artist states:

“It’s about getting free and it’s not that I have it all figured out now or anything, but I’m on this learning curve. There’s something exciting about being on the journey.” She continues, “The album spans different worlds, but I would like to think that soul runs throughout every song. From me to anybody listening, I hope you have a safe flight.”
