Jim Legxacy has unveiled his new single ‘Cold Lewisham Roses’ – a melodic offering that reflects on the matters of emotional abuse.

Fusing afrobeats, indie and trap influences, the melody is hypnotic. Legxacy’s voice possesses a raw energy that’s exhilarating. With chill inducing layered vocal cuts plastered as the backdrop, the track is emotionally compelling.

Ultimately, what is most impressive about the whole record is it’s subject matter. Delving into matters of emotional abuse and manipulation, Legaxy lays bare all his negative experiences with a past lover.

The accompanying visual is shot by Fidel and follows Jim in nostalgic film-like scenes that convey how speaking about traumatic experiences can sometimes bring a sense of joy and emancipation.

Speaking on the concept, Fidel explains:
