Joshua Baraka Unveils ‘Juvie’ Album

An ascending voice in African music, Joshua Baraka has unveiled his debut studio album, ‘Juvie’. The twelve track release was executive produced by JAE5 and showcases why the Ugandan artist is seen as a rising star.

Baraka has dropped a string of EPs since his arrival onto the scene, most recently ‘Recess’ which came out last year. Juvie feels like a culmination of all of his work to date as he reaches new heights in his musicality.

Speaking on the album, the artist states:

“Juvie is about the reality of life as a young adult trying to make something happen. It’s my journey, my story, how I see the world, and how most people my age see it too. It’s a brutally honest piece of art about this stage of life, and how I view relationships and dreams.”
