KAM-BU Drops New Single ‘LIVE-O’

Following the release of ‘ETON MESS’ and ‘Pickney’, as well as a collaboration with p-rallel and BXKS on ‘Evening Time’, KAM-BU has come back with an energetic new single, ‘LIVE-O’. The track takes inspiration from rave and sound system culture and sees KAM continue his foray into more electronic sounds.

Produced by JD Reid and Tom Dinsdale, the track pulls upon the influences of House, Garage, and the Madchester rave scene of the 90’s. KAM-BU says of the track:

“’LIVE-O’ is a rave-ready anthem about the reigniting of adventure through the power of music, an ode to ‘free party’ culture and forest raves. The industrial sound blended tongue & cheek lyricism pointing towards the lost way of myself and the times. However, there’s something about the dance which has and always will be liberating”

This track is a perfect encapsulation of KAM-BU’s musical style, as well as his wish for a sense of community from his music. KAM works closely with the London Wildlife Trust and has a strong interest in politics and environmental activism. We can expect more music from the west London rapper this year as he blazes a trail in UK Alternative Rap.
