Ghanaian artists KiDi and Black Sherif have linked up on KiDi’s latest single, ‘Lomo Lomo’. The track has been accompanied by an ambitious music video shot by Meekah Jagun.
Already a star in his genre, KiDi came to prominence last year thanks to his collaboration with Stonebwoy on ‘Likor’, which was critically acclaimed. He has also been cosigned by the likes of Tiwa Savage, Ms Banks, Oxlade and Sarkodie, while his latest release displays great chemistry between himself and Sherif.
Speaking on the track, the artist states:
“”Lomo Lomo means ‘curse or spell’ in ga, a dialect in Ghana. In this song it speaks to a romantic relationship that feels spell bound almost. In this dynamic, I feel completely under her spell. Blacko jumping on this for our first record together was a very enjoyable process and I can’t wait to see everyone take this and express themselves with it.”
