London-born, Birmingham-raised rapper Kofi Stone has today announced his forthcoming 16-track project, ‘The Last Flower To Bloom’ scheduled for release 2nd October, alongside the release of the project’s title track and accompanying music video.
Produced by Zach Woods, ‘The Last Flower To Bloom’ brings together live choir vocals, classic hip-hop samples and live instrumentation, with Kofi delivering some of his most reflective writing to date.
Another classically brilliant Kofi offering, the title track is framed like a diary entry, seeing him look back on the experiences that have shaped him and take stock of how far he has come and consider what lies ahead.
“The Last Flower To Bloom is a moment to self, an internal dialogue of wonder. It is an honest unsuspecting feeling of what’s to come, like a child waiting by the window or a caterpillar in its cocoon.”
