Kofi Stone Shares Uplifting New Single ‘Black Joy’

Hailing from East London but raised in Birmingham, rap artist Kofi Stone has shared an uplifting new single and great visuals for new track ‘Black Joy’.

Produced by Joice, ‘Black Joy’ is a deeply layered offering and honest reflection of the environment in which Kofi was raised in. Carrying the torch for Hip-Hop’s golden era, Kofi’s storytelling and lyricism is introspective and thought-provoking – a window into his own personal experiences but above all a moment of celebration.

Kofi Stone says “I wrote this song because I wanted to celebrate black culture and document joyful experiences,” Kofi says. “Experiences that often act as a safe space for the black community, and an escape from life’s harsh realities. I wanted to paint a positive picture for younger black kids, who like myself growing up, are not regularly exposed to positive black messages.”
